ACCAN has made a submission to the Australian Law Reform Commission arguing that copyright law needs to be made fairer and easier for consumers to understand.
Summary: We believe that copyright rules should not prohibit private recording, copying or commonplace online activities. We also want easier access for blind and vision-impaired people to electronic versions of books and articles.
