This submission is ACCAN's response to a review of the Integrated Public Number Database (IPND) conducted by the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy.

Summary: The Integrated Public Number Database (IPND) is a database of all Australia's listed and unlisted phone numbers. It was established in 1998 and is currently managed by Telstra. It is a critical source of information for emergency and law enforcement purposes and is also used to compile phone directories and for research purposes.
