This event honours Sue Salthouse and celebrates Sue’s unfailing commitment to Disability advocacy and Human Rights. The online event was held 6:00 pm on Thursday 2nd December 2021.

The keynote speaker for the Inaugural Sue Salthouse Memorial Lecture was Gunela Astbrink. Gunela has an extensive background in disability telecommunications advocacy and worked closely with Sue over many years. Gunela covered the many highlights of Sue’s achievements and legacy. Including, Sue’s support of women with disability in leadership and its impact.

Gunela will also reflect on the need for future advocacy and ongoing social justice and the foundation for change.
