The Australian Communication and Media Authority (ACMA) have begun the exciting and challenging mission of  rebuilding their website www.acma.gov.au and they're looking for your help.

The ACMA will be holding a workshop in Sydney to gouge your views on what the new website should look like and how it best meet the needs of its users. The new site will communicate, facilitate and regulate media and communications in Australia’s public interest.

Who can attend?

Absolutely anyone. The ACMA is seeking to collaborate with all segments of the community who are affected by, or are direct consumers of, the communications and media tools and services that form such a large part of our daily lives. This will give the ACMA the best chance of meeting the needs of all users of communications and media services.

This collaboration will strengthen our understanding of what matters most to citizens and consumers in the media and communication space, how they go about fulfilling their needs and goals and what is the best way to help them achieve that.

To that end, the ACMA is researching user needs to reach practical conclusions on how best to use the web channel as a means of engaging and delivering services for our users. The ACMA would like to recruit a broad sample of users from the general community  in order to engage in direct research activities. The ACMA is looking to reflect the wide diversity of the community in the workshops to give us
