Inclusive Communications

ACCAN wants the Government to improve telecommunications services for people with a disability by introducing a Disability Telecommunications Service (DTS), committing to functional equivalence in telecommunications, reaching out to new underserviced consumer communities and delivering a one-stop-shop for assistive technologies.

Fair Calls For All: Coming 2015

Thanks to the support of over 1000 organisations and individuals, Australians will soon be able to call essential services and small businesses on 13 and 1800 numbers for a fair price from a mobile phone.

Your 'Do Not Call' rights

The Do Not Call Register is a powerful consumer protection tool, allowing you to opt-out of tele and fax marketing. ACCAN wants the Do Not Call Register to work even harder in favour of consumers.

Paying to pay: time for telcos to get rid of unfair charges

ACCAN, the Australian Financial Counselling and Credit Reform Association (AFCCRA), and CHOICE are campaigning to get rid of unfair charges incurred by consumers for simply paying their bills.
