Media Access Australia

Grant round: 2011

Grant Amount: $41,500

This project delivered a collection of online and printed resources for consumers with disabilities to provide guidance on popular social media tools, their use with assistive devices and solutions for common accessibility challenges. Consultation and testing activities were carried out with consumers with disabilities who use social media to identify current and future social media tools and trends that are likely to assist consumers with disabilities in participating online.

As part of the project a tip sheet was produced as well as a report which summarised outcomes, findings, future trends and practical advice for consumers.
