In partnership with the National Farmers Federation (NFF), ACCAN has been engaged by the Australian Government to deliver the inaugural Digital Tech Hub program. ACCAN’s role is to develop content and information on digital technologies, specifically focused on the needs of regional, rural and remote Australians. Accordingly, under the guidance of ACCAN and NFF, the Technical Writer will develop easy to understand guides to communications services which will be published via the Hub’s online portal.

Ideally, to succeed in this position you will have relevant qualifications in a technical writer, journalism or communications discipline, or commensurate experience in a relevant role. With excellent computer literacy, you also possess highly developed written communication skills and the ability to create a wide range of content for a variety of platforms and audiences. A strong understanding of telecommunications and ICT solutions and equipment will also assist your success.

This is a six-month contract position with the potential to extend. All ACCAN staff are currently working remotely, so there is flexibility on location and working arrangements. Salary is negotiable depending on your experience and qualifications.
